Literature: Shaping Our Future

Nowadays, people uses literature as their inspiration and in everyday life. We write poems, short stories, essays, novels, and so many, and by this we did apply our skills on what we experience. Like the literary works of Shakespeare, we got some techniques on how to make literary peaceand with his prose we connote that not to be exactly good on making literature works but to make things clear is we, oursleves develop on shaping ou future together with literature. Sometimes, it is our light on the dark side of our yesterday and literature will definitely mold our tomorrow! But how can we say that it'll shape our future? How come the next day would be strong and emphasized enough to us on looking our literature in definite good looking shape? "Life's what you make it!" and literature will make our ffuture shaped right and good enough. As this builds on our tomorrow, we connect them with real life situatuations. Sooner we will be equipped to face on mode of existence and easily cope with the change of our future. Also,we make this our stepping stone on organizing time hereafter.

Philippine literature is the literature associated with the Philippines and includes the legends of prehistory, and the colonial legacy of the Philippines, written in both Indigenous, and Hispanic languages. Most of the notable literature of the Philippines was written during the Spanish period and the first half of the 20th century in Spanish language. Philippine literature is written in Spanish, Tagalog, English, and other native Philippine languages. The variety and abundance of Philippine literature evolved even before the colonial periods. Folk tales, epics, poems and marathon chants existed in most ethnolinguistic groups that were passed on from generations to generations through word of mouth. Tales associated with the Spanish conquest also took part in the country’s rich cultural heritage. Philippine epics and folk tales are varied and filled with magical characters. They are either narratives of mostly mythical objects, persons or certain places, or epics telling supernatural events and bravery of heroes, customs and ideologies of a community.During the Spanish colonial period, the country has encountered transformations in their daily customs. It affected not only the country’s whole system but as well tainted the purity of their folklore traditions.

And because of the western’s strong influence and forceful implication of their civilization, the locals’ forms of expression on national issues and self-consciousness were replaced through political essays, novels, poems and religious prose- a form of learning, however, that led to ultimate awakening of Filipinos regarding the unreasonable colonial rule in the country. Famous examples of these Spanish-adapted writings are the novels of Jose Rizal, El Filibusterismo and Noli Me Tangere.Nowadays, Filipino writers have continued to patronize the intellectual influence started by Rizal but to further aim at reviving the richness of the country’s very own folk traditions and introducing it to new generations as a significant form of art.The earliest literature evolved from the transcription of pre-existing oral traditional narratives, and progressed gradually to a point where such materials were first composed in written form.Later in human history, the deliberate writing of imaginary or fanciful texts, disseminated on wriiten form to a litearture audience, marks the first fully self-conscious literary traditions. The very thing so many people fear will be our proudest accomplishment- that our future will be shaped entirely by our own design. You know what ? I agree absolutely about this. Literature on shaping our future would be a big part on our recent lives.I believe that it has a concern with feelings ; the quality of life. It can educate the heart as well as the mind.

  1. Literature is a big part of our future. With that we are led by changing our ways and putting it into a better tomorrow. And we are the instrument, ourselves. And literature would be our stepping stone in our success.
